What kind of campaign analytics do you support? How can I check it?

There are 2 kinds of analytic for a campaign:

1. Studio Analytics:

This is the internal analytics page of a campaign.

Please refer to this article to know how to view Studio Analytics page.

The analytics page have below data:

  • Dashboard: shows general analytics data of the campaign.
  • Traffic
    • Pageviews/Transactions: this page shows how many Pageviews/Transactions occurred during the selected period.
    • Game Playing: this page shows how many gameplays occurred during the selected period.
    • Call To Action: this page shows how many CTAs have occurred during the selected period.
    • Share: this page shows how many shares have occurred during the selected period.
  • Users
    • Sign Up: this page shows how many users registered in this campaign.
    • User Detail: this page shows the detailed user’s information in this campaign. You can download the data for users who played the game during this campaign.
  • Device
    • Platform: this page shows the type of user’s platform.
    • Browser Type: this page shows the type of user’s web-browser.

Note:

If you need further advance analytics data, such as:

– Pageviews/Transactions in each country, each platform,…

– Number of CTA clicks in each country, each platform,…

– Replay Time, Score, IP & Location,…

– Detail data of one specific Country, Platform, User,…

2. 3rd Party Analytics:

You can enable the 3rd party analytics for your campaign, and then check the analytics data in those 3rd party analytics page.

You can enable 3rd party analytics for your campaign by following the steps below:

1. Go to Studio website https://studio.brandedminigames.com/ and log in with your account.

Note: if you don’t have an account yet, please check this article.

2. On the top menu bar, select the “Dashboard” button to go to the campaign dashboard.

3. Find the campaign which you want to enable and select it.

4. You will be led to the Game Settings page of the campaign, in here, select the “Integration Settings” on the left menu.

5. In the “Integration Settings” page, depend on the 3rd party analytics that you want to use, toggle their corresponding control to ON.

6. Enter the required “Tracking ID”, “Token” or “App ID” which you get from 3rd party analytics tools.

Note:

Depending on the 3rd party analytics, the analytics data which you have received may be different.

E.g. Up to the time this guide is made:

Google Analytics can track:

– Landing page, Leaderboard, CTA

– Unique users, Active users

– Location, Browser and Features which is provided by Google Analytics

Mixpanel Analytics can track

– Landing page, Leaderboard, CTA

– Client can use mixpanel to create and track events such as click events in our campaign

Facebook Analytics for Apps can track:

– Unique users, Active users.

7. If the campaign has been published, after updating, please do select the “Save Changes” button on the top right to apply your changes to the campaign.
